A project funded by DOST-National Research Council of the Philippines (NRCP) that focused on Development and Validation of Wordlists in the Top Seven (7) Mother Tongues Used in the K-3 Curriculum was featured in a lecture-forum on Storytelling and Transition from other Tongues to Second Language in celebration of the National Literacy Week in the month of September.

DOST agencies collaborate in breaking HIV/AIDS stigma
The need to inform the vulnerable public on how they can protect as well as help themselves and others from the ever rising Human Immunodeficiency Virus (HIV) infection prompted the Department of Science and Technology-National Capital Region (DOST-NCR) and DOST-National Research Council of the Philippines (DOST-NRCP) to join hands in a campaign called “Breaking the HIV Stigma”.
