MinDA-NRCP collaborate for Mindanao River Basin

NRCP officials, led by NRCP Vice President Gisela P. Concepcion (fourth from right), and NRCP member-experts join the Stakeholders’ Forum organized by the Mindanao Development Authority (MinDA) today in Koronodal City to address the pressing challenges faced by the Mindanao River Basin and their effects on the surrounding vulnerable communities. Outcome of this forum will be used to develop national policies for improved governance of the Basin to mitigate the impact of natural disasters and climate change. Key agencies present are Department of Science and Technology Region XII, BARMM Ministry of Science and Technology, Department of Environment and Natural Resources, Provincial Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office and relevant local government units.
