Basic Research Grants

All Regular and Associate Members of the NRCP are eligible to submit research proposals for funding.

Criteria for funding:

Proposal is not a duplicate of any past and on-going research (local or international) and did not receive (on in the future, will not receive) concurrent grants from other funding agencies.
Proposal is aligned to the identified priority areas or programs of the NRCP, DOST, or the Philippine government and compliments existing projects under the pertinent program-based scheme.
All proposals are reviewed by designated NRCP member-evaluators under the pertinent Scientific Division. In the final stages of the evaluation before approval, proposals will undergo defense before the NRCP Executive Committee.
