The DOST-National Research Council of the Philippines (NRCP) has awarded manuscript grants to four master’s and three doctoral graduates for 2020.
The manuscript grant is a funding opportunity of NRCP given to MA/MS and PhD graduates to support reproduction of their theses and dissertation manuscript.
Grantees will receive P15,000 for dissertation and P10,000 for thesis; with 10 slots for dissertations and 15 for thesis manuscripts allotted each year.
Studies submitted must be aligned with the National Basic Research Agenda (NIBRA), with focus on water security, food and nutrition security, health sufficiency, clean energy, sustainable communities and inclusive nation-building.
Application is done online via the NRCP Scientific Knowledge Management System (SKMS) at skms.nrcp.dost.gov.ph. Members can login to their existing account while new applicants should create a profile. Requirements include certificate of completion from the adviser, extended research abstract, and certification of no other funding support.
