The National Research Council of the Philippines (NRCP) inked two (2) Memorandums of Agreement (MOA) with national high schools in Parañaque City for the use of NRCP Back2Basic online science classes as supplemental teaching- learning tools for Grades 10 students.  The signing of the MOA with Parañaque National High School (PNHS) and La Huerta National High School (LHNHS) was held last September 7, 2022.

With the signed MOA, twenty (20) Grade 10 students, each from the two (2) high schools will be enrolled to join the NRCP B2B Season 3 online science classes, dubbed as B2B for Climate Change that will start on October 24 to December 5, 2022.

The Grade 10 B2B students from the PNHS and LHNHS are up to grab knowledge and skills about some of the ground activities influencing weather and climate; computational mathematics and optical instruments use for climate change research and innovations; impacts of climate change to human health and body chemistry, parasites anatomy and structure; and desulfurization of fuels to alleviate the climate change impacts.

The science lessons may sound difficult, cerebral or too theoretical for some, but with NRCP B2B, the teaching – learning of these science lessons are made easy.  The methods of lesson presentation along with the related interactive and hands-on activities are structured in very creative and popular format using animated videos and infographics, apart from the lessons’ primary objective to provide the Grade 10 students with the most essential knowledge and skills after each lesson is taught as provided in the DepEd MELC or the most essential learning competencies.

B2B made science easy to teach, easy to learn, engaging and exciting!  To see previous lessons from B2B Seasons 1 and 2, visit the BRITER COMMONS at (Irish Danielle Hallegado, SRS I)
