03 April 2017. The National Research Council of the Philippines swore in the new Governing Board members and officers for the fiscal year 2017 - 2018.

NRCP Partners with Science Heads in Caloocan in Climate Change Congress. The National Research Council of the Philippines (NRCP) collaborated with the Association of the Science Department Heads of Caloocan (ASHDC) in the latter’s 3rd Science Congress that tackled pressing issues on Climate Change with the theme “Sustaining Climate Change Awareness through Innovation and Advocacy.” NRCP members (from topmost left to bottom right) Dr. Emma E. Porio (Ateneo de Manila University), Engr. Glenn SF. Banaguas (De La Salle University Araneta), Dr. Rogel Mari D. Sese (Regulus SpaceTech), and Dr. Ramon Christian P. Eusebio (De La Salle University) served as resource speakers. The NRCP experts gave presentations on different innovative solutions, risk assessment and management measure, and emerging technologies that would aid the country in mitigating the effects of climate change.
